GEMSTONES ADVENT CALENDAR-DAY 10-CLEAR QUARTZ

CLEAR QUARTZ REMEDY IN HOMEOPATHY

The Source:

Rock quartz is composed of pure silicon dioxide, just like Silica. The Ancient Greek called it Krystallos, which means “ice”, because it was believed that the Gods had made it by permanently freezing water and that is where our word “crystal” comes from.

Rock quartz has well known piezoelectric properties that used in the watch making industry. Piezoelectric means electricity generated through pressure.

From Source to Keynotes:

The implication is that water plays an important part in the characteristics of this remedy. Frozen water reminds us of rigidity. Water is always associated with emotions, hence: emotional freeze, think Natrum Muriaticum, for comparison. Like Silica, it has the polarity: fragility vs rigidity both emotionally and physically. It has an affinity with bones and teeth.

On the positive side, Rock Quartz promotes clarity of thinking and intuition and strengthens self confidence. It can be considered as remedy for the elderly where there is memory loss or the mind is less sharp than it was.

Clear Quartz benefits the solar plexus and its organs: liver, stomach and also kidneys and bladder. In low potency it can be added to other remedies to support these internal organs and help with detox.
