Anti-psychotic drugs are usually prescribed for conditions like schizofrenia, bipolar disorder, autism and ADHD.

The most commonly prescribed are Abilify and Risperidone

The side effects of these drugs can be quite unpleasant and range from weight gain to heart issues, muscle pain, twitching, stomach pain and more.

HOW IS HOMEOPATHY BETTER?

I will give you an example from my clinic.

A young woman came to me to help her with her lack of motivation and weight gain. Her mother explained to me that she had been diagnosed with schizofrenia and bipolar disorder, she heard voices in her head and suffered from frequent migraines.

She was a sweet woman, with a soft voice. I could see she was very overweight and she told me she had no energy to do any physical excercise, not even walking. She lived with her parents, could not work, did not have the concentration to study or follow instructions and this compunded her depression and low self esteem.

During the conversation, she would forget words or forget what she wanted to say. The way she spoke was slow and almost “sing-song” like. In a word, she looked “spaced out”.

I started with the remedy Calcarea Carbonica, which helped a lot with mood and motivation, however, all the other symptoms were unchanged.

Then one day she asked me if it was possible to reduce the amount of anti-psychotic drugs she was taking and use homeopathy instead.

This is not something to be taken lightly. The first step was for her to talk to her prescribing doctor and agree to graudally decrease the dosage of the drugs over a period of time and under regular supervision.

At the same time, I gave her remedies to address her depression and anxiety.

In less than a year, the drug dosage was dropped from 35mg to 5mg.

RESULTS

Last time I saw this patient she looked like a different person:

-no more slow “sing-song” voice: her speech is animated and purposeful

-no more memory issues

-started a job

-started to excercise

-motivated to eat healthy and lose weight

-happy, no more headaches or hearing voices
