HOMEOPATHY FOR COLITIS

HOMEOPATHY FOR COLITIS

Colitis is an inflammation of the large intestine, caused by virus or bacteria, among other things.
Symptoms include:

-severe abdominal cramps
-loss of appetite
-dizziness
-irregular bowel movements

A patient contacted me recently with such symptoms. He had been suffering for over a month, lost a lot of weight and was in terrible pain. Antibiotics had only made him nauseated, so he stopped taking them; tests had revealed inflammation of the lining of the large intestine, possibly caused by viral infection.
Constitutional remedy helped initially, but not completely, so I added another couple of remedies to deal with the physical symptoms.
Three weeks later the cramps and all the other symptoms are gone. Doctors prognosis was at least 18 weeks.
